Railings That Feel Like Part of the Architecture

Interior Railings Designed Around Your Home

A railing shouldn't feel like an afterthought bolted onto your staircase or balcony. It should feel like it was always meant to be there. We design a custom balcony railing or interior railing that complements your home's finishes, matching rich wood tones and modern open-concept layouts alike, so every detail feels intentional. Many clients also ask about a matching ornamental iron fence to carry the same style outside.

Balcony Railings That Elevate Any View

An open balcony overlook turns into a real architectural feature with the right railing design. We shape each one to frame the view below and complement the open living space above.

Interior Railings for Stairs and Lofts

Our interior iron railings bring strength and elegance to staircases, landings, and second-story walkways. Every baluster and handrail is fabricated to meet code while still matching your home's personality.

Balconies as a Design Statement

Interior balcony railings do more than prevent falls. Scrollwork, spacing, and finish choices turn a required safety feature into one of the most noticed details in the room.

Fully Customized to Your Home

No two projects look alike. Every railing is shaped around your existing staircase, flooring, and trim, so the finished piece looks like it belongs rather than stands apart.

Craftsmanship That Complements Your Interior

Interior railings live in close view every single day, so fit and finish matter more here than almost anywhere else in the home. Our custom interior railings start with a close look at your existing woodwork, hardware, and color palette before a single design is sketched, ensuring the final piece feels cohesive with the rest of your space.

Every piece is fabricated in-house and installed by our own crew, never subcontracted out. That keeps quality consistent at every stage, and it means one accountable team handles your entire project, start to finish.

Many homeowners extend the same craftsmanship outdoors, pairing interior work with ornamental iron works like custom gates or a matching perimeter piece for a unified look across the whole property.

10/22: It was 30 years ago that I first used Ensley Iron for interior railings throughout my 3-story home, as well as deck railings. Danny, the owner/operator, was most professional and their work was EXCELLENT! (All the railings are still in like-new condition!!).

Now, 30 years later, I took a chance that they were still in business because I needed more exterior railings, as well as a driveway gate. Imagine my surprise to find Ensley Iron (and Danny) still in business! And now I have had the pleasure of dealing with them again, with the same high quality result!!! You CANNOT go wrong using Ensley Iron for all your wrought iron needs! Perfection!

Danny and his crew recently installed fencing for us. It was not an easy project - fencing and gates under a deck and stairs and around an uneven old rock garage foundation. They brought good ideas, measured, made drawings, and measured again before fabricating. The installation was done carefully, professionally, and timely. After a couple of months living with the work, I am still very pleased.

I need a lot more than 5 stars to describe Danny and his team! They are that outstanding! Danny is one of the nicest, customer-focused people you could ever hope to meet, and he and his team are true, old-world-style craftsmen in every sense of the word. From initial consultation through design, fabrication, and delivery, EOI cannot be beat. Thank you all for a phenomenal job producing my beautiful drive gate. I could not be more pleased!

After researching several companies in the area for fabricating our railings, I settled on Danny and Ensley Ornamental Iron. He came out personally to measure all sections, and once he arrived I knew I'd absolutely made the right decision. He kept me updated throughout the build and when the install crew arrived they displayed professionalism and care throughout the installation. Our new railings are expertly crafted and our cottage porch looks fantastic. We couldn't be more pleased and are customers for life!
